Addon: FuBar_tcgTradeskills

Fubar_tcgTradeskills adds a tiny set of profession buttons to your Fubar. I position these in the upper-righthand corner of my screen. Mousing over the buttons will open a drop-down showing all of the tradeskill levels on all of your toons. Clicking the buttons will open the tradeskill window for this toon for that button.

Additionally, it tracks cooldowns and displays the time until it’s available when you log into any toon. When the cooldown expires it will display popups to remind you that the cooldown has expired.

  1. I really like this addon for quickly accessing all my tradeskills and secondary skill without taking up buttons on my quickbars. I also like the cooldown timers but wish there was a way to disable them per toon (I keep getting reminders of cooldowns for toons on other servers that I don’t play, or cooldowns that I don’t care about like the leather working “saltshaker”)

  2. When there’s a cooldown I want to ignore I go in and cancel it. I don’t remember the exact wording but you can go in and say “yeah, I don’t care about this” and it’ll stop showing. I don’t know if there’s a way to preemptively do that thought.

  3. For people of the Data Broker persuasion, there’s an addon that does everything Fubar_tcgtradeskills does, just written for LDB: Ara_Broker_Tradeskills.

I used tcgtradeskills for a long time, so I was happy to find an LDB version of it. 🙂

Oh, Nice! tcgTraceskills was -the- reason I didn’t update to LDB. I may reconsider that now.

  5. I dropped tcgTradeskills because it fairly agressively searched your tradeskills every time you opened the window. This causes some slowdown on a normal day, but on patch days or any time the cache is cleared hangs my client indefinitely.

Fubar_SkillsPlusFu has pretty much all the same functionality.
