Which means according to the manual that for the next 3-6 weeks I should keep my weight within +/- 2 lbs of my last injection weight (LIW). BUT that seems silly since I’m fairly confident that I will lose more at least over the next three days.. and possibly even during the next 3-6 weeks.

Do I stick to the plan? or throw caution to the wind and go back to healthy eating and dieting? Frankly I’m leaning towards the second option.

The plan is to do 3 more days of VLCD to taper off the HCG in my system and then do 1 celebration dinner (my birthday dinner on Saturday) and then do 3-6 weeks of “no starch, no sugar”. I will do a correction day if my weight goes above 2 lbs gained over either LIW or the average for the last 5 days.

Learnings:
– I am again forcefully reminded that my portions have gotten too big. I think the 4oz single servings are a good thing and I plan to continue portioning out my proteins before I freeze them.
– I made a few recipes that I plan to make again. Specifically the Tomato and Cucumber salad, Moroccan Meatballs, Lemon/Orange spiced shrimp and the Chicken Puttanesca. Other people have warned me that after the diet I won’t want to eat those foods because they’ll remind me of the diet.. but well those recipes were pretty tasty.. and I plan to keep making them regardless of what I’m reminded about.
– I like the regimental feel of the meals. It was easy to create a meal when I knew I had to pick a portion of protein, a portion of fruit, a portion of vegetables and a grassini. I think I’ll keep doing this type of thing for my lunches.. and try to maintain something like that for dinners.
– I hated going without breakfast. I cannot wait for breakfast on Saturday.
– If I do this again I now know that I can only have daytrips on the calendar during the VLCD portion. I cannot handle cooking meals which I can’t eat.

I don’t yet know if I’ll be doing another round. At a minimum that round would not be able to happen until after Pennsic and I’d have to find a stretch of at least 4 weeks with no camping events (good luck with that). I guess it depends on how I do on weight loss between now and then.

I do feel that this has helped me kick start another losing streak. I just need to keep it up through West An-Tir War and Pennsic and I’ll be golden.

B: Coffee, Creamer, sweet-n-low
L: 1/2 Chicken puttanesca
L2: 1/2 Chicken puttanesca, apple, grassini
D: ??? probably meatballs

Starting weight: 298.0 Today’s Weight: 287.0 Today’s change: -1.6 Net change: -11 VLCD day 23.
