1. Work\/Programming<\/strong>
\nBusy busy busy at work. Yesterday I had lunch with my boss’s boss (who works out of the Florida office) and a bunch of the other San Francisco group that report up to her. One of the guys complained about how busy we are. I shushed him and reminded him that it’s better to be busy than not busy.. not busy leads to layoffs.<\/p>\n

The other gal who was hired to be part of my group was snatched up by the CTO to work on his pet project. I kind of suspected something like this was coming last month when they moved her away from me (and the group we work with) to another floor. I hope she comes back to us in the future.. but I realize this is a great opportunity for her.<\/p>\n

2. Home<\/strong>
\nWe have a steadily growing pile of Pennsic stuff on the back porch. Tonight and tomorrow I think we’ll have everything all set to go. The Pennsic truck (which my honey is driving) leaves out on Tuesday morning.. but I still have another week after that before I fly to for Pennsic. <\/p>\n

I’m not in a panic.. I just have a lot to do.<\/p>\n

3. Health<\/strong>
\nI’m currently at LIW +1 lb. I’m not panic’d about it. Yesterday I had lunch out with the boss.. and then last night we went out and had dinner at a nearby Indian restaurant. Yummy yummy Indian food has been located in Santa Rosa (Torch of India). We will definitely go there again.<\/p>\n

I’m feeling an urge to do a morning walk while I’m a Pennsic. Last year I did morning runs.. but I’m so out of touch with running right now I’m going to aim low and just aim for a daily walk. Anyone else at Pennsic want to join me?<\/p>\n

The plan is to do a ~30 min to 1 hr street-clothes and gym shoes walk in the early morning (ie, 7-ish when it’s -not- hot).<\/p>\n

4. SCA\/Projects<\/strong>
\nI was able to borrow an industrial sewing machine from a friend in town and I replaced all of our tent stake loops<\/a>. I’m thinking that since I currently have it, it would be a nice time to make a fitted ground cloth.. but I’m not sure if I can find the materials for it and finish that up before we have to load up the truck for the trip. Meh.<\/p>\n

I have quite a few projects on my todo list. Luckily I’m fairly certain I can finish them (or they’re not important).<\/p>\n
