F and I put them together). We paid $550 for this set: Burton Dining Set We didn’t get the chairs we arms.. nor did we get the side-board. Just table + 6 chairs. At $550 I think it was a steal. Especially since I think that table is normally listed for $450 and each chair is normally $100+.

Let’s see.. back story. About a month ago, just after we moved into the house we bought a sofa off craigslist. We paid $450 for a used 8’x8′ sectional sofa. While we were there the seller told us that he was in the process of opening a furniture store.. and if we wanted any other furniture he could get it for us super cheap. He’s a reseller for Coaster Furniture. As it turns out, we have been thinking that we needed a few pieces so we got a quote from him for a new diningroom table and chairs. Long story short, we finally go the pieces.. and they are really nice.

We will be contacting him about getting a bedroom set (kingsize bed + 2 dressers + 2 nightstands) next.

If you’ve been thinking about buying furniture.. and you see anything on that site you like, LMK and I can put you in contact with him. I really recommend it.

3. Health
I am successfully fighting the battle of the bulge. Little by little I’m fighting it back. Which is not to say I’m winning.. it simply means I’m backing away from my drop-dead weight and back into the weight I’ve had since March. Still 10 lbs over last year’s weight.. but a little bit of win is better completely losing the battle.

I really want to put the treadmill together.. but in order to do that I need to clear out stuff in the garage. A bunch of stuff from the storage unit stuff is now in the garage. That needs some serious attention. I’m planning to deal with that after Coronet.

4. SCA/Projects
I’m making good progress on my projects for Cynaguan Coronet. I wish I had more time (or had started on them earlier) but isn’t that always the way. After Coronet.. I have NO idea what projects I’ll be working on. I actually think I have NOTHING in the queue.

Well, almost nothing. I need to paint a box (the box hasn’t been built yet) and finish replacing the stake loops on the new tent, but other than that.. my todo list is not empty.. but lacks anything with a defined deadline. Weird.

5.
Car is still broken. Taken to calling it “Popeye” or “Pa-diddle”. An appraiser is supposed to look at it today so hopefully that will be remedied soon.

I’m surprised at how stressed it makes me that my car is still munged. It just.. stresses me out and frustrates me to drive it. Even though I know the trucking company has accepted complete fault and will be paying for all of the repairs.. still the whole topic makes me anxious.

Future:
Oct 25 Cynaguan Fall Coronet
Nov 3 FREE WEEKEND!!
Nov 10 Colligium Occiental
Nov 17 Mists Fall Investiture
Nov 20-30 Parent’s in town
Nov 24 Thanksgiving and Golden River Anniversary
Dec 1 Housewarming/Holiday/Shots Party

August 31, 2013 My wedding in Billings Montana

1.
