Off to meet Jeff and Patti for a “Honk for Bernie” that happened in front of the capital building in downtown Sacramento. It was raining a bit which was annoying but not raining a lot. We took a separate vehicle from Jeff and Patti and packed lunch for all three of us. At noon I fed Erik his Peanut butter and jelly sandwich and then he and I headed for home. I was simply chasing Erik around and wasn’t really helping with the “Honk for Bernie”. The thought was there. Anyway, Erik and I headed for home. When we got back I put Erik down for a nap. He stayed in his room and was fairly quiet (although not sleeping) until about 3. After I got him up he and I hung out and watched a bit of TV. Erik actually snuggled for a bit. After Fearghus got back from the Bernie thing he had to run to the store for some stuff for the boat and suggested that he pick up chicken kabobs for dinner from a local kabob place. After Fearghus got home he started working on draining the fuel tank of the boat.

The kabobs for dinner were tasty but expensive (and a bit dry). I don’t know that we’ll order from them again. I think their lunch prices are reasonable but $25 for two kabobs seems excessive.

Given yesterday’s cheats I’m not surprised I maintained overnight. Today I was good. I think I need to make more of an effort to eat my fruit. I keep saving it just in case I’m hungry later and end up skipping it. I think I’ll try to eat it and allow my self one extra fruit for a late snack if I really need it.

Plans for future meals:
– Thai spring rolls with shrimp
– English onion soup (no bread, no cheese)
– BBQ chicken (a href=”http://www.hcgplan.net/recipes/bbq-sauce.html”>Sauce)
– cajun cod baked in a paper package with lemon, celery/asparagus and capers.
– Flank steak wraps with basil-based oil-free chimichurri/pesto paste had been used instead. Basil, spinach, onion, garlic, white wine vinegar, lemon, red pepper flakes, cherry tomatoes.

Post diet plan:
– Maintain smaller portion sizes.
– Eat breakfast. I think our standard breakfast (egg, toast/tortilla) is fine.
– Make dinners in specific portion sizes.
