I spent the first half of the week about 3 lbs up. Then Friday Saturday and Sunday I ate whatever because I just gave up. So then I dropped those three lbs to end the week exactly where I was last week. Add to that, I’m in my second week of diahhrea. I visited my doctor yesterday and she ran a few tests and at this point is calling it Gastroenteritis (stomach flu). I feel better today.. so maybe it’s tapering off.

I recognize that gorgonzolla gnocci and pizza are not the best foods to eat if you’re trying to lose weight. That said.. I’m starting to feel a little fatigued with always being good. I don’t want to “quit” because that would be silly.. but I also want to see some progress because I’m being good. Hopefully not being sick will let me get back on the weight loss track.

We got an XBOX Kinect and “Your Shape: Fitness Evolved”. I’m enjoying the workouts and actually kind of like the soreness afterwards.

Now at least I can tell myself that “muscle weighs more” and that’s why I’m not seeing progress on the scale. Whatever. I’m in this for the long run, so let’s get on with it.

Breakfasts:
T: 1/4 cup yogurt, 1/4 cup dried blueberries, 1/4 cup grapenuts, 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed, 1 Tbsp fish oil, 1 multi-vitamin, 16 oz Earl Grey Tea
W: 1/4 cup yogurt, 1/4 cup dried blueberries, 1/4 cup grapenuts, 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed, 1 Tbsp fish oil, 1 multi-vitamin, 16 oz Raspberry Royale Tea
Th: 1/4 cup yogurt, 1/4 cup frozen blueberries, 1/4 cup grapenuts, 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed, 1 Tbsp fish oil, 1 multi-vitamin, 16 oz Earl Grey Tea
F: 1/4 cup yogurt, 1/4 cup grapenuts, 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed, 1 Tbsp fish oil, 1 multi-vitamin, 16 oz Earl Grey Tea, 1 banana
S: 2 soft boiled eggs on thin buns
S: Cream of wheat with milk and brown sugar
M: 2 soft boiled eggs on toast

Lunches:
T: SF Soup Co: Beef 1/2 sandwich and broth of chicken soup
W: SF Soup Co: Small New England Clam Chowder
Th: SF Soup Co: Turkey 1/2 sandwich
F: 1/2 baked stuffed salmon and 1/2 apple
S: None
S: None
M: Cota Salame sandwich with cheddar cheese and honey mustard and an apple

Afternoon Snacks:
T: None
W: None
Th: None
F: None
S: None
S: Slice bread with 1/2 banana and nutella
M: None

Dinners:
T: Chicken and Pesto with Pasta
W: Chicken/Beef Pot Pie
Th: Baked Stuffed Salmon
F: Gorgonzola Gnocci
S: 4 slices pizza and 4 cheese bread sticks
S: 2 slices pizza
M: Lentils Stew with wheat bread and butter

This week I: – Lost 0 lbs.
