Hopefully I&#8217;m done with that). Everything but the cold was totally worth it. My hip is 90% better than it was and it&#8217;s very exciting getting back to life without being mobility challenged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also got a steroid injection in my shoulder (which made it <a><\/a>feel better for about 2 months.. I&#8217;ll have to re-do that in the new year or figure out how to live with a bone spur tearing up my shoulder <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude15\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tf2\/1\/16\/1f615.png\"> ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SCA wise I&#8217;ve decided my weight loss is stalled and I&#8217;m going to sally-forth into making fitted garb again. I keep holding it off hoping to get smaller and that&#8217;s just not happening so, fuck it, I&#8217;m just going to make myself some clothes that fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[Edited to add: I also finished 293 books in 2024 in Kindle Unlimited. This is down from the 478 in 2022 but significantly up from the 0 of 1990-2021]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m not going to lie. I&#8217;m super anxious about the incoming President. Everything I&#8217;ve ever seen about him and the people he surrounds himself with tells me they&#8217;re there to make a profit for themselves and to take a GIANT shit on anyone who&#8217;s not rich, white, male, evangelical Christian. I cannot fathom how 30% of America thought that was a good idea. So for the new year I&#8217;m focused on speaking out where I can, saving money, growing my own food, and getting back to canning\/preserving. At best I&#8217;ll solidify some skills I&#8217;ve been neglecting for the past few year. At worst.. well let&#8217;s just not go there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2025 is here. It&#8217;ll happen no matter how I feel about it.
