1. Work\/Programming<\/strong>
\nMy current project is winding down. I’m not 100% done.. but I hope to be by EOD today or Mon\/Tue. I’m already assigned to my next project but I think I need to wait on a pre-planning meeting before I can dive into it. I’ll have to follow up on that.<\/p>\n

I haven’t mentioned it in a while.. but I truly love my job. I’m happy and excited that I get to work with the smartest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting on fun and challenging projects that aren’t all the same. Seriously.. LOVE MY JOB.<\/p>\n

2. Home<\/strong>
\nGood news! California did not have a major earthquake and fall into the ocean. We are all very relieved. In other news my dizziness has abated and I’m back to feeling myself again (Yes, I get dizzy and I take it to indicate imminent earthquakes. No, I don’t think that’s hokey at all. My dizziness has about a 75% success rate in earthquake predictions. Do not scoff at the dizziness).<\/p>\n

Tonight on the way home I need to stop off a Home Depot and pick up some latches for my bathroom cabinet. His Evilness, Emperor Loki the kitty, has decided that the contents of the bathroom medicine cabinet are very interesting.. and are only more interesting when swatted out of the medicine cabinet onto the floor. Although I agree with His Evilness that the contents are interesting.. I’m not in favor of placing everything on the floor. So I need to put a latch in place to keep His Evilness out of the cabinet. <\/p>\n

In other (and I’m sure unrelated) news “Buy lots of kitty toys” is also near the top of my to-do list.<\/p>\n

3. Health<\/strong>
\nMy Hard Ten<\/a> is going really well. <\/p>\n

\nMy Hard Ten:
\n\u2013 Ten days long, if you mess up a day you go back to 1\/10
\n\u2013 Must eat 100% on \u201cplan\u201d whatever your plan is (not 90% on plan.. or 85% on plan. One Hundred Percent, no sneaking). For me this means eating my packed meals and not having all the little things that call my name (brownies at work, glass of milk at home, restaurant food, extra large portions, etc).
\n\u2013 Must do cardio. For me this is 30 minutes on the treadmill everyday.
\n\u2013 Must do exercise. For me this is Ab Divas.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I start on last Friday when I weighed in at 276.8 and this morning (day 7\/10) I weighed in at 272.4 which is a difference of 4.4 lbs. Total win.<\/p>\n

I haven’t been hungry and I haven’t “eaten only broiled chicken and steamed broccoli with no butter”. Heck, I even had a decadant Black Forest Ham and Caramelized Onion Grilled Cheese<\/a> for dinner one night. I just haven’t been nibbling and that has made all the difference.<\/p>\n

This week I finally kicked over into C25K week 4. That means I’m now running 5 minutes at a time. It doesn’t sound like much.. but considering that 5 minutes of running is more running than I did ALL OF LAST YEAR COMBINED I think it’s amazing that I’m able to do it now. Week 4 is starting off a lot easier than week 3 did. I -do- think I’ll end up repeating week 4 at least once..maybe twice but I’m fairly certain I’ll be able to advance to week 5 in short order.<\/p>\n

4. Projects<\/strong>
\nTonight I should finish the machine stitchery on the tunic for HRH of the Mists. I hope to have that this weekend as a hand finishing project at the event. After that tunic is finished I need to get to work on my dress for my brother’s wedding in May. I can start and finish the skirt and sleeves and hold off for a few weeks on fitting the bodice. <\/p>\n

5.<\/strong>
\nI have been in an exceptionally good mood for the last week or so. I kind of like it. <\/p>\n
