1. Work\/Programming<\/strong>
\nI need to get back to my roots and start practicing the mantra of “Under Promise and over deliver”. I made a mistake of underestimating a project.. which has since lingered on and on an is just dragging me down and interfering with my other projects. Initially I just thought my estimate was spot on.. but I come to find out that I’d actually underestimated the amount of work involved. Sadly this is making me look bad. Ie, I’m now someone who isn’t hitting her deadlines. <\/p>\n

But no more. Draggy project is FINALLY done (crossing my fingers and hoping it doesn’t zombify and eat my brains) and I’m currently on-schedule with my current projects and plan to remain so.<\/p>\n

2. Home<\/strong>
\nI’ve been dragging my heels about getting the boxes of stuff in the front room put away. I’m not sure exactly why.. but I need to just do it. Maybe I’ll put that in on my to-do list for Sunday. It would be nice to have my front room cleared of boxes again.<\/p>\n

3. Health<\/strong>
\nMy breathing is back to normal and C25K has been going well this week. I’m still not completing the last run.. so I’ll stick with week 4 again next week. I am making it -further- into the last run.. but my heart is beating just about out of my chest at that point.. and running the full time just hasn’t been an option.<\/p>\n

Speaking of which.. I was reading a forum where folks doing the C25K post.. and someone posted that they just couldn’t understand why ANYONE would ever have to repeat a week more than once. I’d like to send out a cordial “FUCK YOU” to that person and suggest that they try and do the runs while carrying 100 extra pounds strapped to their back.<\/p>\n

4. Projects<\/strong>
\nThis week I have been super productive.
\n – I started on the sleeves of DOOOM for my blue dress. They’re both easier and harder than expected. The thing that’s making me nervous is that I don’t think I have enough fabric. I’m fretting about that. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping that I have enough fabric AFTER I cut the skirt to the correct size. Still.. very nervous. I have a backup plan.. but I don’t want to have to use the backup plan. I need to get patterned for my bodice so I can make the bodice and cut the skirt. fret fret fret
\n – I put the finishing touches on Her Highness of the Mists purple under tunic. I’ll turn that over to her at Beltane.
\n – I made a new green tunic for me. It went together surprisingly quickly.
\n – I’ve cut out a new hood for me. It should go together tonight.
\n – But, more importantly, I need to quickly throw together a new chemise tonight. My old one is shredded and I’d happily forgotten about that since I’d been wearing my Germans (which use a different chemise) and my wool tunic (which uses a flannel chemise which will be far too warm for this weekend). <\/p>\n

5.<\/strong>
\nSadly my boots did not arrive. So I need to dig out some footwear for Saturday. I got the size 10 boots which were to big and I sold them.. then I ordered 9s.. which were to small so I exchanged them for 9.5s.. which haven’t arrived yet. \/sigh<\/p>\n
